VINYASA FLOW
A creative flow sequence dynamically linking movement with breath and improving strength, health,
and flexibility while clearing the mind. This class is appropriate for all levels. Modifications
will be given to beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
ASHTANGA
The system of Yoga taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore,
India. This method of Yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures — a
process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and
organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. ALL LEVELS.
MYSORE
The traditional way of learning Ashtanga Yoga is called "Mysore Style". Each student has a
self-practice in whatever Series they are working on. The instructors are available to help with the
postures by means of hands-on adjustments and reminding you of the sequencing should you forget.
Experience and regular practice in Ashtanga is recommended. If you have a regular practice but isn't
one of the Ashtanga Series, feel free to come in and do your own practice in this class and share and
experience the energy! EXPERIENCED.
JIVAMUKTI
Jivamukti means "liberation while living." A vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating
practice leading to spiritual awareness. Each class has a theme, which is explored through yoga scripture,
chanting, meditation, asana, pranayama, and music. ALL LEVELS.
SLOW FLOW
Focuses on mindful awareness of the body through alignment and long, slow holds of postures. Encourages a
balance between engagement and willful surrender through a slow flowing style. A moving meditation! ALL LEVELS.
ADVANCED
These classes are for those ready to take their practice to a deeper physical level. The Emphasis is on
longer holds, deep breathing, arm balancing, deep back bends and juicy twists. ADVANCED.
KRIPALU
In the heart of Kripalu Yoga lies an unfolding of your true self. Through dynamic, yet gentle yoga postures and conscious breathing techniques you will touch the peace and tranquility that lies within. The essence of Kripalu Yoga is experienced through a meditative, continuous flow of postures designed to guide the student to a deeper awareness of the union of the body, mind, and spirit. Each class consist of an hour of guided yoga postures that include twists, inversions, postural alignment, and balancing poses, as well as twenty minutes of guided relaxation/meditation.You will feel an increased vitality and energy level, an inner calmness, and a toning and strengthening of the muscles even after just one class. BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE.
YIN YOGA
A Taoist form of Yoga that targets connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. Yin postures are held
three to five to ten minutes at a time. The practice is quiet and passive and is a great compliment to
your flow practice! ALL LEVELS.
RESTORE
A relaxing class focusing on restful postures during which the body is supported by props such as blankets
and pillows. ALL LEVELS.
MEDITATION
Zen is a spiritual tradition that guides us in uncovering our inherent wisdom and compassion. It empowers
us to discover who we truly are by engaging a simple yet profound practice (meditation) called shikantaza
(just sitting). We learn to let go of the causes of our pain and dissatisfaction and to gain the inner
peace and clarity we seek.
PRENATAL
This class helps to strengthen your uterine and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion,
exercise the spine and practice breathing techniques useful for labor. Yoga reduces the discomforts of
pregnancy while stretching and strengthening the muscles which help to facilitate labor. A perfect
opportunity to connect with your baby and other expectant mothers!
YOGINI & ME
Moms gain flexibility and serenity through poses and breath work as well as gaining strength and tone
in abdominals, legs and buttocks. Exercises for your baby stimulate your baby's basic motor skills,
vision and coordination. Also a great place to connect with other moms! Dads welcome too! Class
designed for 8 week old to crawling babies.
KIDS YOGA
In our fun and playful classes we will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination using traditional
yoga poses. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization
techniques. They will learn how to safely challenge themselves in a non-competitive manner developing a
greater respect for themselves and those around them.
**Private sessions must be cancelled 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment to receive full refund. Any Private Session cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will receive a 50% credit for future sessions, classes or merchandise.
*Please arrive at least ten to fifteen minutes before your class is scheduled
to allow time to register if it is your first class.
